SGML

Integrated with all our translation tools is the use of Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML), which represents state-of-the-art capabilities in translation information management. At Techno-Graphics, our systematic use of SGML enables us to store and maintain content modules or files for our clients. These information modules are segments of translated text that can be easily moved between documents, applications, platforms or design formats. SGML encodes segments of the document by content/information type and by structure (section head, paragraph). The encoded modules of information can be used quickly and easily in subsequent production of document updates, related documents (e.g., employee manuals, equipment manuals) or in multiple information formats (CD-ROM publishing, web site pages, databases, intranets, electronic technical manuals or various print materials).

The flexibility and adaptability of the SGML files provide our clients with the translation quality and cost control mechanisms that, ultimately, define total customer satisfaction.

For more than 25 years, Techno-Graphics and Translations, Inc., has provided superior translation services to hundreds of companies with offices or markets throughout the world.
