Techno-Graphics offers clients the ultimate synthesis of superior human resources and high-tech tools for translation and information management. Our staff and support specialists produce consistent, accurate translations through skilled interaction with the Trados Translator's Workbench. Trados offers the creative translator options for more precise communication and builds a client-specific and document-related memory for efficient access and storage and to ensure that repetitive information is translated quickly and concisely.

Our staff also uses the S-Tagger application to successfully interface between translation memory tools and conversion tools, such as FrameMaker and Interleaf. S-Tagger ensures that document content and structure will pass easily through a variety of platforms and applications used in the desktop publishing or production of the document.

Integrated with all our translation tools is the use of Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML), which represents state-of-the-art capabilities in translation information management. At Techno-Graphics, our systematic use of SGML enables us to store and maintain content modules or files for our clients. These information modules are segments of translated text that can be easily moved between documents, applications, platforms or design formats. SGML encodes segments of the document by content/information type and by structure (section head, paragraph). The encoded modules of information can be used quickly and easily in subsequent production of document updates, related documents (e.g., employee manuals, equipment manuals) or in multiple information formats (CD-ROM publishing, web site pages, databases, intranets, electronic technical manuals or various print materials).

The flexibility and adaptability of the SGML files provide our clients with the translation quality and cost control mechanisms that, ultimately, define total customer satisfaction.
